Unitech Printed Circuit Board Corp., a Taiwan-based manufacturer of multilayer, HDI, and rigid-flex PCBs for industries ranging from automotive electronics, smartphones, wearable devices, and networking equipment, has posted sales of NT$1.296 billion ($43.7 million at $1:NT$29.63) for April, down by 9.23% from the previous month, but up by 26% year-on-year.
For January to April, Unitech reached total sales of NT$4.9 billion ($166.6), up by 11.2% compared with the same period last year.

Nanya Technology, Taiwan's biggest DRAM chipmaker, will apply for a permit to provide chips to ZTE. The company said it has been notified about restrictions on shipments to ZTE, and that the ban would have limited effect on its operation. The company said on May 9 that it is preparing to apply for a permit to continue shipping chips to ZTE Corp. as export restrictions took a new turn due to a US-China trade spat.
